Aims

The undergraduate psychology program intends to provide foundational skills from multiple perspectives. In addition to providing foundational knowledge in major subfields such as experimental, clinical, developmental, social, and industrial psychology, the program fosters critical thinking and scientific reasoning skills in students.

To enhance students' digital competencies, several computer courses have been added to the curriculum, and a computer lab has been established in recent years. Through mandatory biology and sociology courses, interdisciplinary electives, and various minor programs, students acquire a well-rounded perspective.

The qualifications the department aims to impart to its students in academic and professional aspects:

• To have graduates take on duties and responsibilities based on psychological knowledge that do not require an advanced degree across public institutions, the private sector, research units, and non-governmental organizations.
• To have graduates take part in academic and professional roles involving research, data analysis, measurement and evaluation, and evidence-based decision-making processes.
• To have graduates pursue graduate education in various subfields of psychology to advance toward academic and professional careers requiring advanced specialization.
• To have graduates adhere to a scientific approach, professional ethical principles, and a sense of social responsibility in the academic and professional roles they undertake.
